Vyshnnavi Parthasarathy is a Systems Engineer in our diabetes care business. A biomedical engineer by training, she contributes to the development of algorithms for our FreeStyle Libre technology. To her friends, she's the woman who just loves to sing ... and to improve the lives of people living with diabetes. Let’s get to know her.

Your 20-word (or so) resume… Biomedical engineer passionate about using sustainable technology to improve people's quality of life.

What inspired you or drew you to this field/area of research? I have always carried a sense of admiration for the field of medicine and always wanted to be associated with it in some form. Being a biomedical engineer has given me the relevant opportunities to do exactly this.

Your proudest professional moment … Every time an acquaintance or friend lets me know how helpful our products have been in their journey with diabetes.

What do you like to do for fun? I like to play board games, explore new coffee places — and sing like no one's watching. 

What are your dreams for the future? To be part of a sustainable healthcare technology leader, like Abbott.
