Pamela Nisevich Bede is a sports dietitian with Abbott's EAS Sports Nutrition. She works with scientists, athletes and coaches to support the development of innovative nutrition products that help active people and athletes of all levels achieve their goals.
As a marathoner, triathlete, and certified specialist in sports dietetics, Pamela knows firsthand the important role nutrition plays in athletic performance. A 21-time marathoner and Ironman® triathlete, Pamela relies on her experience and nutrition knowledge to impact the diet and performance of top athletes. She has contributed to multiple books and regularly writes a column, “Fuel School,” published by Runner’s World magazine.
Prior to joining Abbott, Pamela was a nutrition spokesperson, a consultant to major industry players, and a pediatric clinical dietitian working in the areas of pediatric obesity, genetics, Type 1 diabetes and general pediatrics. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Miami University and a Master of Science in Medical Dietetics from The Ohio State University.
