Brian Blaser is Senior Vice President, Diagnostics. He was appointed to his current position in June 2010.

Previously, Mr. Blaser served as Vice President, Diagnostics Operations; Divisional Vice President, Global Operations; and Divisional Vice President, Reagent Manufacturing, all for Abbott Diagnostics.

Prior to joining Abbott, Mr. Blaser held several positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, finance and operations at Johnson & Johnson, Eastman Kodak and General Motors.

He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering technology from the University of Dayton and a master's degree in business administration from Rochester Institute of Technology.
