Stephen R. Fussell

Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Steve Fussell is Senior Vice President, Human Resources. He was appointed to his current role in April 2005. Previously, he served as Vice President, Compensation and Development.

Mr. Fussell joined Abbott in 1996, as Divisional Vice President, Compensation and Benefits.

Prior to Abbott, he held human resources leadership positions at Nestlé and Shell.

Mr. Fussell is a board member of the Clara Abbott Foundation and the Abbott Fund. He is an author and speaker on a wide variety of subjects and has served as a guest lecturer at Cornell and other universities. In 2010, he was named to the HR Honor Roll by Human Resources Executive magazine.

He earned a bachelor of science degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
