John C. Landgraf

Senior Vice President, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing and Supply

John Landgraf is senior vice president, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing and Supply. He was appointed to his current role in July 2004. Previously, Landgraf was vice president, Quality Assurance and Compliance, for Abbott's Medical Products Group.

Landgraf joined Abbott in 1977 and worked in key positions in plant quality assurance, manufacturing and marketing in Abbott's Diagnostics Division. He also held various management positions in manufacturing and engineering with Abbott International and Abbott Diagnostics Division.

Prior to joining Abbott, Landgraf worked in research and development for Inolex Corporation in Glenwood, Ill.

Landgraf serves on boards for the National Association of Manufacturers, Northern Illinois University, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the Northeast Illinois Council of Boy Scouts of America. In addition, he is chairman of the Supervisory Boards, Abbott Management GmbH and Abbott Holding GmbH.

He earned a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in microbiology from Northern Illinois University and a master's degree in business administration from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
