Abbott is always looking for ways to improve efficiency, better serve our customers and build stronger relationships with our suppliers.  With that in mind, we are pleased to announce that Abbott is implementing a guided buying platform, in partnership with SAP Ariba®, that will replace our current  processes with a robust single solution. This streamlined environment will be provided to you without network fees for Abbott transactions.

The onboarding of our existing supply base will be done in phases. Phase 1 includes suppliers serving in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Suppliers will receive instructions for joining the SAP Ariba® Network. The instructions will establish how to enter a trading relationship with Abbott, configure a SAP Ariba® Network account, register and provide qualifications to conduct business with Abbott via the SAP Supplier Lifecycle Performance platform. Once the system goes live, activities will be conducted through this guided buying platform.
