"Living life to the fullest means putting all our energy into the products and services that extend and improve life for arrhythmia and heart failure patients."
Senior Vice President, Electrophysiology
Mike Pederson is Abbott's Senior Vice President, Electrophysiology. He was appointed to this role in April 2020.
Mike joined Abbott in 2015, as Divisional Vice President, Abbott Electrophysiology, to help Abbott build a cardiac arrhythmia business through a combination of strategic acquisitions and organic growth.
Prior to that, he served as Chief Executive Officer of VytronUS, Inc.
Mike takes real pride in the life-changing technologies that Abbott offers. "Our work allows patients to live longer and better," he says. "Patients that get our devices go from not being able to climb stairs or do other daily activities to living active lives."
Mike received his bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison; and his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
