Uri Yaron is Senior Vice President, Electrophysiology.
He was appointed to his current role in July 2023. He joined Abbott in June 2023 and previously served as Senior Vice President, Ventures.
Uri leads the development, manufacturing, market introduction, training and commercialization of products that impact the lives of millions around the world living with cardiac arrhythmias.
Prior to Abbott, Uri served as President, Biosense Webster, Johnson & Johnson.
Uri earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics & Physics, Master’s in Physics and Ph.D. in Physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
He also serves as Chairman, the Open University of Israel, and is a board member of the American Heart Association, Western States. He also serves on the boards of DayTwo, AposHealth, Aumune, and BioGenCell.
