Executive Vice President, Core Diagnostics
Lou Morrone is Abbott’s Executive Vice President, Core Diagnostics. He was appointed to this role in July 2023.
Prior to assuming his current role, he served as Senior Vice President, Rapid Diagnostics.
Since joining Abbott in 2004, Lou has held several leadership positions within Diagnostics, including Vice President, Transfusion Medicine.
Lou earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
