Diego Martinez is divisional vice president for Benefits and Wellness at Abbott, developing strategy and implementing benefits plans for 113,000 company employees around the world.
Diego’s efforts span design and delivery of benefits, wellness, retirement and leave programs in countries where Abbott operates. Diego has been with Abbott for more than 20 years. Before starting his current role in 2017, he worked as director of international compensation consulting based in the U.S. He also has held various benefits and compensation positions for Abbott Human Resources in Argentina, Puerto Rico and Singapore.
Diego holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.
